NMMU will be looking to pick up their first win of the season when they take on NWU-Pukke in Potchefstroom on Thursday.
The Madibaz are the only team in the competition that is yet to pick up a win this season, with just one draw and two losses in their first three games which have all been away from home.
It will be their fourth straight away game on Thursday, and will be desperate to perform after failing to score a single goal so far.
Nothing less than a win will be enough to see them move off the bottom of the standings, so they are likely to come out and play some positive, attacking football.
Following their opening round defeat to WSU hosts NWU-Pukke picked up consecutive victories over VUT and Wits, so they will be looking to make it three wins in a row.
A win for the home side will see them move into second place on the standings, just one point behind frontrunners UWC.
They have scored five goals in their three matches so far, so they will be confident of being able to put the Madibaz under pressure.
Prediction: NMMU will be highly motivated to prove a point, but NWU-Pukke are full of confidence so we are expecting this one to end in a draw.
