Varsity Sports 7s rugby and Beach Volleyball are gearing up to set the Camps Bay beach strip ablaze with unlimited action from 29Nov-01December.
The world famous Cape Town beach will be abuzz with Beach Volleyball action, while literally across the road at Camps Bay Sports Club 10 Varsities will battle for title honours in the fast paced, all action 7s rugby tournament.
Last year’s 7s tournaments were won by Maties who will be banking on a big home support to repeat their feat, while neighbours UWC and UCT Ikeys will be looking to surprise a few of the traditional contenders such as the likes of Tuks, Pukke and UJ.
The 10 #VS7s contenders are:

The Varsity Beach Volleyball have made great strides since the inaugural series last year played in Plett and Margate – favourites UWC will have some major backing in the stands, but the other varsities have done their homework and won’t be holding back.
New in the mix are UFS Kovsies who have just recently won the #VSnetball competition and have a proud campus backing their charges.
