The defending champions continued their dominance as they remained undefeated, with Tuks in second, setting up semi-final clashes with UJ and UL respectively.
Tuks vs VUT
The twelfth match of the day was played in slightly cooler conditions, VUT and Tuks exchanged blows in the afternoon sun. The Tuks combination between Jamie-Lee Wentzel and Shannon de Vries kept their eye firmly on the ball and started to run away with the points. Wentzel did well on the return serve but VUT came back to within 4 points at the break – halftime was 21-17 in favour of Tuks, who went on to win. Well done TUKS. Another loss for VUT. Tuks go to the top of the log.
Final Score: Tuks 42 VUT 30
UWC vs UJ
In Match 13, UJ came up against UWC, in a must-win game for UWC to go back to the top of the log. The match went one way with UWC doing all the driving and winning by a clinical margin, playing superb volleyball. A well-deserved win. They moved back to the top of the log. Exciting stuff.
Final Score: UWC 45 UJ 21
TUT vs UL
In the final match of Round Four there was a chance for TUT take on UL, to see which team would challenge for a top four position. At one stage the points were tied at 21 all, revealing the closeness of the contest between TUT and UL. But UL stepped into overdrive to take the match away. Final score 42 to UL and 29 to TUT.

UWC vs Tuks
UWC were up against Tuks in the clash of the day. UWC did what they had been doing all day and won yet another game. They really proved their mettle against their toughest rivals. What a fight. What a match.
Final Score: UWC 33 Tuks 27
UJ vs TUT
The combination pairing of Laeeqah Sujee and Nkosidumo Ngwabi was enough to see UJ win another game. They beat TUT 36-29 in the penultimate game of the day.
Final score: UJ 36 TUT 29
VUT vs UL
VUT and UL brought proceedings to a close in the final match of the day. Talk about perfect conditions for volleyball? It was cloudy and cool with a gentle cool breeze, as the two teams slugged it out. But UL were always in control and ran out worthy winners.
Final Score: VUT 40 UL 27
So the league table looks as follows, all have played five matches, UWC top the log with 10 points and are the only team to win all matches and with a points difference of 80. Tuks are second with four wins and 9 points, just one match lost. UL are third with 8 points, UJ with 7, VUT with 6 and TUT prop up the table with 5 points. So its UWC taking on UJ in the one semi-final. Tuks will play UL in the other.
