The TUT Ladies Football team stamped their authority in this year’s competition by thumping the visiting side VUT Ladies Football by 3 goals to 0 yesterday at the TUT Stadium in Tshwane.
The Home side took a commanding 2 – 0 lead when going into the break. The home side could buried the game by the 1st half already but too many touches and wayward shooting let them down in the end. In the 2nd half TUT Ladies sealed the match with 3rd goal meaning that VUT Ladies had no way back.
The UP-Tuks Ladies team proved too powerful for the Ladies form UJ. Two first half goals from Tuks had them in the driving seat going into the break.
Only one goal was added in the second half and a last minute free kick which hit the crossed bar meant that the UP-Tuks Ladies finished the game with a score of 3 – 0.
