UP-Tuks continued their unbeaten run with a comfortable 79-13 win against UCT ensuring they end top of the Varsity Netball standings heading into the play-offs.
The Pretoria side were in dominant form to finish the league phase of the competition in style, whilst it was a tough end to the season for UCT who managed to win just one game.
UP-Tuks stamped their authority on the match from the outset, and cruised to a 19-2 lead by the first break.
The second quarter saw UCT do their best to fight their way back into the game, but they were trailing 30-6 at half-time.
The start of the second half saw UP-Tuks really put their foot down and they clinched the bonus point in the third quarter to go into the final break with a 60-13 lead.
The final quarter saw UP-Tuks keep a tiring UCT side goalless as they wrapped up the result in style to take some valuable momentum into the semifinals.
