Tuks and Uni-Zulu battled it out at the Fanie du Toit Sports Grounds on 21 September with the Pretoria side winning 3-0.
Seven minutes in the game Duduzile Qwabe scored the opener for Tuks. Making their intentions clear to their opponents. Another one hit the net after 22 minutes as Alexandra Michael put Tuks in the lead, 2-0 against Uni-Zulu.
University of Pretoria made sure that they were the only ones on the ball during the first half, making things hard for their opponents Uni-Zulu. The whistle for half time blew and Tuks were the front-runners in the match, 2-0 ahead.
The red and white came back with more fire and Michael scored again for Tuks. The struggle for Uni-Zulu was real, unable to get a single attempt on target. Even with extra time added Uni-Zulu couldn’t score, and Tuks tasted sweet victory.
