UP-Tuks have taken the lessons learnt from their 1-1 draw away to defending champions UWC, as they prepare for their second round encounter with neighbours TUT.
Head coach Tlisane Motaung has named an unchanged matchday squad for the clash at the Tuks Stadium on Monday, 25 July.
The last time these two teams met was in last year’s Varsity Football semi-final, where TUT walked away victors, but Motaung is adamant that this is not a revenge match.
“We have set goals for each and every match in the regular season,” Motaung told varsitysportssa.com.
“For us to see this as a revenge match would be childish. It is a new season with new coaches, players and a renewed chance of winning the title. We know exactly what we need to do in order to beat TUT,” he added.
UP-Tuks take on TUT on Monday, 25 July 2016 at the Tuks Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 and will be televised live on SuperSport 4.
