The Cape Town squad competed valiantly at last year’s USSA sevens having lost to Maties in an exciting Semi-final.
Ranked 3rd at the USSA, UCT are a team that must not be taken lightly with the potential to dominate all the way to the final stages of the tournament. Having already played Maties in a warm-up match, UCT will be aware of the tough competition that lies ahead of them. Look out for Mark Winter, Mathew Healy, Douglas Mallet, Darren Berry and Dale Manning.
