NWU-Pukke ran rampant against Wits in Bloemfontein on Saturday, cruising their way to a resounding 8-0 victory.
Both teams were delayed in their journey down to Bloemfontein but once action got underway Pukke soon established their dominance.
They went 3-0 up at the end of the first period with Stephanie Baxter, Maartjie Korten and Michelle Diaz all finding the net.
Wits regrouped after the break and held out until the ball was worked out to Sulette Damons who was able to tap in at the far post to make it 4-0.
A penalty corner goal from Baxter made it 5-0 at the second break, and Pukke kept the pressure on right until the final whistle.
Sinalo Jafta got on the scoresheet soon after the break and Damons followed up with her second goal to make it 7-0.
Carli Gericke got the final goal to cap a commanding performance from her side.
