Hosts Pukke kept their unbeaten Varsity Hockey run going on Sunday with a comfortable 5-1 victory over NMMU.
The Eastern Cape side took a shock lead against the powerhouse team from the North-West University when Keisha Arnold slotted the opening goal, but Pukke responded in emphatic fashion.
The hosts were ruthless as they hit back hard, and two goals from striker Sulette Damon saw them take the lead before pulling away from NMMU and making the game safe through goals from Carli Gericke and Celia Evans.
Following their tough win over Maties on Saturday, Pukke next face UJ in a match that will be televised live on Supersport 5 at 17.30 on Monday as they look to make it a clean sweep at home in Varsity Hockey.
NMMU will take on Wits on Monday as they search for their first Varsity Hockey win following their defeat to Kovsies on Saturday.
