The NMMU Madibaz handed hosts UJ a defeat in their Varsity Netball clash in Soweto on Sunday.
The Eastern Cape side were simply to strong for their opponents, as they marched towards a convincing bonus-point win.
The first quarter of the match was hard-fought as both sides looked to grab the early ascendency, but it would be the visitors to take a 9-5 lead into the first break.
By half-time their lead had swelled to a comfortable 24-11 advantage, leaving UJ fighting to stay in the match in front of their home fans.
The third quarter was a productive one for NMMU as they took their lead to 38-15, and the bonus point was wrapped up in the last minute in the compulsory power play.
