UFS-Kovsies displayed their ruthlessness against UJ which saw them walk away emphatic 79-36 winners to pick up their second win of the competition.
Kovsies got off to a fast start thanks to some sublime handling as UJ slowly made their way back into the match but it would be the Free State ladies who held a 22-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Kovsies started the second quarter on the front foot and were relentless in attack which saw them surge into a healthy 44-14 lead at the halftime interval.
The Free State ladies continued to dominate the match and brought up their bonus point in the third quarter, racing to a 65-27 lead as the final quarter approached.
UJ started the final quarter with two quick goals but that proved to be their only dominance in the match as Kovsies came back stronger to run out comfortable winners to hand the Joburg ladies their second loss of the competition.
