The Kovsies team made a big statement in their comprehensive 6-1 Varsity Hockey victory over UCT in Potchefstroom on Sunday.
The Bloemfontein side were clinical in their execution, to make it two wins from two matches after their comfortable 4-0 victory over NMMU on Saturday.
UCT managed to get a goal through Stacey Morley Jepson, but they were no match for the well-drilled Kovsies side that dominated the match from start to finish.
Kovsies will face Maties in a crunch match which will be televised live on Supersport 5 at 16.00 on Monday as they look to continue their unbeaten start to Varsity Hockey.
UCT will face UP-Tuks on Monday as they search for their first win of the tournament following their draw with Wits on Saturday.
