The UCT Ikeys will be desperate for revenge when they take on UFS Kovsies in the Varsity sports Sevens Plate Final on Saturday.
The teams met earlier on Saturday in round-robin play and the Men from Bloemfontein romped to a comfortable 22-5 victory to gain an important psychological advantage ahead of their final showdown.
Although both sides would have been disappointed at being dumped out of the Cup competition on Friday, they will be desperate to make amends by securing some silverware when they square off in the Plate final at 3pm on Saturday.
With both TUT and Limpopo having endured some heavy defeats there was little but pride on the line when the two sides met, and it was the TUT Vikings who prevailed 31-0.
The defeat leaves Limpopo without a single point in Plettenberg Bay and they will be keen to bounce back in Margate next week.
