TUT are on a big mission to defend their league title. They have made their intentions clear and they doing a demolition job week in and week out.
The players are enjoying themselves and the camaraderie in the team is amazing. They don’t really have a star player and they play as a unit. It’s a new look TUT, but that’s no problem. They have simply continued from where they left off last season. They are marching on as if they didn’t lose the core of their team that gave the opposition teams sleepless nights. Themba Ndlovu is regarded as their talisman, but the team is not relying on him entirely. There was a period when he was sidelined with injury but they carried on with their usual business of producing results.
What sets TUT apart from the other team is their discipline. They work for each other on defence and attack, as a unit. Coach Bushy Moloi has assembled a talented and hardworking team and his big gamble is now paying off. TUT are quietly going about their business of collecting points. Any team that goes to UJ and CUT to collect the maximum points deserve a special mention.
Their motto this season is “One game at a time, one step at a time” and so far so good. Taking things game by game is working for them. After two games on the road the Red Machine is looking forward to their home game against UWC and they will definitely receive a big reception at home.
Watch TUT earn vital away win at CUT:
TUT don’t have individual brilliance but they make up for that with their hard tackling and their ability to close the gaps when they don’t have the ball. In their opening game of the season against UP-Tuks in the Tshwane derby, TUT were exploited in the air and on set pieces, but they seem to have worked on those mistakes and they are defendind much better.
