Two rounds into the 2018 season of Varsity Football and we’ve seen packed stadiums at all eight matches so far. With such a high demand for tickets, here’s how to make sure you get your hands on a pair and get to watch your team live!
The must-have app!
Whenever you’re looking to attend a Varsity Sports event, the Varsity Sports app is your go-to spot. Varsity Football is no different. Not only can you win prizes and get all your news and fixtures, but tickets are available on the app. They are often free or cheaper than a regular ticket, but note that they are limited! So don’t delay or wait too late.

The website
The Varsity Sports website is the hub of Varsity Football. It’s where you can read the match report to every match, catch the fixtures and logs and yes, get your ticket! If the app tickets are sold out, this is your next port of call. Tickets are never more than R10.
Just click here!
At the gate
If the Varsity Sports app and the website are both sold out of tickets, your only option may be if your university sells tickets at the gate. But this is for those who haven’t planned ahead and usually a last resort. Be sure to keep an eye on @VarsityDiski on Twitter to find out whether the tickets are sold out before you make the journey to the match, ticketless.
On the couch
If you couldn’t get tickets, there’s a 50-50 chance your match will be live on SuperSport. Every week, two matches are available live on SuperSport Select, so kick back, relax and cheer on your team from the comfort of the couch. And while you’re at it, get your tickets for next week’s match on the app!
