UFS-Kovsies will have to overcome a powerful NWU-Mafikeng side when they do battle in a crucial game in Bloemfontein.
The hosts will have to be defensively sound if they are to control the likes of Orebotse Mongae and Tshenolo Machwisa.
NWU are coming off the back of a hard fought draw against current log leaders UJ while the Bloem students were made to work even harder to claim a 2-0 victory over a determined UCT.
The North West side currently occupy second position with 12 points while the Bloem students find themselves just outside the top four in fifth position with 10 points.
A win for the home side will see them jump above their opponents in the final standings whereas a draw is good enough to see the Mafikeng side qualify for the semifinals.
