Both the Varsity Beach Volleyball and Varsity Sevens will get an early start at Camps Bay on Saturday.
The notorious Cape Doctor payed a central role on the opening day in Camps Bay on Friday, and as a result Friday’s Sevens fixtures will be completed on Saturday morning whilst the Beach Volleyball will also start an hour early.
Sevens action will kick off at 9.40 in the morning with the mouth-watering Cape derby between Maties and UCT, with Round Five set to be wrapped up by 11.00.
The rest of the day will run to the same schedule, with Round Nine moved to Sunday morning ahead of the knock-out phase of the competition.
The Beach Volleyball action will start at 9.30 in the morning, and end an hour earlier than originally planned – at 13.30 in order to avoid the influence of the wind.
With action getting underway earlier in both tournaments be sure to get down to Camps Bay nice and early to catch all of the explosive action.
