NWU-Pukke made it consecutive Varsity Netball victories when they stormed to an 88-16 victory over TUT on Saturday.
The team from Potchefstroom got their campaign off to the ideal start on Friday with a crucial victory over old rivals Kovsies, and they followed that up with a comprehensive performance against TUT.
It was TUT’s second heavy defeat in a row after they were easily beaten by hosts UP-Tuks on Friday, and leaves them rooted to the bottom of the standings.
Pukke made a strong start to the game, and had raced out to a massive 40-12 lead by half-time.
Things got even tougher for TUT after that, as they managed just four goals to Pukke’s 47 after the half-time break.
Pukke’s WD Lentsa Motau was named the FNB Player of the Match!
Pukke will be looking to keep their unbeaten form going when they face hosts UP-Tuks on Monday, whilst TUT face another uphill battle against Kovsies.
