Varsity Netball will feature the strategic Samsung Pivot Shot play which will give the teams a chance to have their goals count double.
Each team will be able to call one Samsung Pivot Shot play which gives them two minutes in which the goals scored will be kept on a separate scoresheet and added the the total at the end of the match.
This strategic initiative will give the sides an opportunity to make the most of their dominance on the court.
The teams will signal when they want to use their Samsung Pivot Shot play and an official will raise a flag after which Icona Pop’s “I love it” will play over the loudspeakers.
All goals scored during those two minutes will be added to the final scores at the end of the match, and if the Samsung Pivot Shot play is not taken it will automatically be allocated in the last two minutes of the match.
