NWU are hungry to build on their opening Varsity Football victory when they take on UFS in their first home game in Mafikeng on Monday.
NWU gave a spirited display of soccer ingenuity by mesmerising the opponents Wits University by four goals to nil during their opening away game of the tournament.
This well deserved victory gave them an early lead in the Varsity Football standings.
For their second game, the Mafikeng outfit will be facing tough as nails University of Free State on the campus football field on Monday where they are expected to deliver an impressive performance infront of the ever loyal supporters.
Head Coach Augustine Makalakalane commented: “We will definitely compete to win the next game .We need to impose our style of play. We will field our best team on the day.
“As this game will be televised live on Supersport 4 it will be perfect exposure for the players and this is also good for post –match analysis,” concluded the ever confident Makalakalane.
