The Cape Tonians scored a whopping seven goals to defeat their Eastern Cape rivals 7-0 in Potchefstroom on Friday evening.
UWC got off to an incredible start with the Cape Tonians scoring three goals within the first 10 minutes. Bongeka Gamede scored in the third, Bongeka Gamede in the fifth and Antonia Maponya in the seventh.
UWC would open the scoring in the second half as well, with Khanyisa Manengela netting on the 40 minute mark.
It became a free-for-all for UWC with Holofelang Manyama scoring a breakaway goal after Sisanda Vukhaphi gave it back inside for the midfielder to score.
Simnikiwe Mhlakaza and then Vukhaphi scored successively making the score 7-0.
