The next round of matches will see a big match take place in Soweto, when Wits travel the short distance to battle it out with crosstown rivals UJ at the UJ Stadium (Soweto Campus).
The University of Johannesburg look like favourites to win this one, after having a mixed bag of results so far in the tournament, which sees them sit fifth on the log. The Witsies haven’t really got their season going yet, after falling to the then bottom of the log side, UFH 3-1, away in Alice.
Wits seem to have opted to keep the majority of the team the same, going into this game with minor changes happening. The two changes see Obert Rukato drop to the bench, with Tshireletso Motsogi regaining his starting position. Mahle Mtabane who has also been a regular starter this season, gives way for Shaun Matintela, who will look to provide the Witsies with more options going forward.
The Wits coaches will hope the men in the yellow can finally get the much desired three points, after having had another dismal away game last week in Alice. It would be even sweeter for the Witsies to turn their season around, against local rivals UJ.
This game is sure to be filled with lots of action, so be sure not to miss the 16.30pm kick off at the UJ Stadium in Soweto. The match will also be live on SuperSport on Monday 22 August 2016. Make sure not to miss it, as it will be one of the fixtures of the season.
