TUT captain, Elliot Seema says their victory against Wits at TUT stadium on Monday is now the past and the main focus is the Tshwane Derby against Tuks next week Monday.
TUT started their campaign in the Varsity Football tournament this year on a high note when beat Wits 2-1 in Pretoria. The Bushy Baloyi led side are set to travel to Tuks next week in what expected to be a thrilling encounter.
Seema believes a victory against Tuks could determine their destination in the Varsity football tournament this year.
“I believe we deserved the win against Wits”.”Our game plan worked well but missed lot chances”,says Seema.
“Winning the second game is very important. It will determine our next destination going forward in the tournament”,he added.
History dictates that the game between TUT and Tuks is no short of goals and entertainment and same expected again when the sworn rivals square up at Tuks Stadium on Monday.
“Our games against Tuks always produce goals and great football”. “Besides the three points ,there is also pride at stake as we both based in Tshwane”.”We need the three points and looking forward for the game against Tuks on Monday”,said Seema.
