Despite claiming a victory at home against NMMU, TUT coach Bushy Moloi is still not happy with his team’s finishing in front of goal.
TUT beat NMMU 1-0 at the TUT Stadium on Monday to keep their aspirations of qualifying for the top four alive.
This was TUT’s second victory in succession after they beat Wits last week.
The Tshwane-based side have now moved into second position on the Varsity Football log.
TUT is now set to visit UWC in their next league game and Moloi is calling his players to be brutal in front of goals.
“We missed lot of chances (against NMMU). This is the department that we still to improve on. Our movement in the final third was also not spot on,” said Moloi.
“These are things that we need to improve on for our next game against UWC,” he added.
TUT is set to face both UWC and NWU-Pukke who are also both running for a spot for the knockout stages.
“All the teams currently in the top four position are still in danger of missing out of qualifying for the championship.
“We need to win all our remaining games to secure our spot in the top. Its vital that we get the three points against UWC next week,” said Moloi.
